Silent autoplay
Silent autoplay is the default behavior of short-form feeds — clips start playing automatically with the sound off until the viewer chooses to unmute.
Because most viewers see a clip muted first, the clip has to work with no audio. That's why captions, a visible hook and clear framing matter so much. ClipMe burns word-level captions and reframes vertically so a clip reads instantly on mute — and only earns the unmute once it's already held attention.
